E.D.E.D: Entrepreneurial Development with European Dimension

The main objective of E.D.E.D  project is the establishment of strong links and of a high level cooperation between the civil society in Turkey and EU Member States through the civil dialogue in the area of enterprise and industrial policy where civil society dialogue is particularly valuable for Turkey’s successful accession to the EU.

The main priority areas of the project are to increase awareness regarding the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship and self-employment at the local level and to promote the development of skills for commercialization of cultural and local products.

Projects expected results are:

  • Increasing awareness and capacity related to entrepreneurship, branding, trade-marking, local products and geographical indications;
  • Identifying and promoting best practices in entrepreneurship learning in EU and Turkey in order to create a more entrepreneur-friendly business and skills development environment;
  • Creating sustainable cooperation between Turkish and other European countries’ respective organizations;
  • Creating a network where organization from both Turkey and EU countries in the area of enterprise and industrial policy can collaborate in the future.

Tecos' role:

Exchange of information, experiences and best practices to adopt environment sensitive and energy efficient products, technologies and production processes: TECOS's role within E.D.E.D project is to support the networking and exchange of best practice between the Development Agencies or Centres running schemes on resource efficiency for SMEs.
