Koledar dogodkov Decembrsko dogajanje (od 27. novembra do 22. decembra 2021) je namenjeno tako strokovni kot splošni javnosti. Med več kot 30 dogodki bo del dogajanja namenjen srednješolcem, študentom, in mladim raziskovalcem, prav tako pa bogato dogajanje v Digitalno središče Slovenije vabi tudi mlade podjetnike, podjetja, organizacije oz. njihove predstavnike iz Slovenije in Evrope. Celotno dogajanje bo hibridno; na voljo bo tako v Digitalnem središču Slovenije v ljubljanskem BTC-ju kot na daljavo.

TECOS - Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije je kot koordinator projekta LIFE CEPLAFIB (A New Circular economy through the valorisation of postconsumer PLAstic waste and reclaimed pulp FIBer) na dan 23. September, 2021 gostil zaključno konferenco projekta, na kateri so bil predstavljeni glavni izsledki in rezultati zadnjih treh in pol let intenzivnih raziskav konzorcijskih partnerjev. Projekt LIFE CEPLAFIB je bil delno sofinanciran iz programa LIFE, edinega evropskega finančnega instrumenta Evropske komisije, ki podpira projekte ohranjanja okolja in narave ter je namenjen izključno ukrepom na področju varstva okolja, ohranjanja narave ter blaženja in prilagajanja podnebnim spremembam.

Inovativnost razvoja novih hibridnih materialov in komponent, ki je zadnja leta zaposloval sodelavce TECOS Razvojnega centra orodjarstva Slovenije, je kot pomemben razvojni prispevek na področju hibridnih materialov prepoznal Alfred Nobel Science Park. Organizator mednarodne konference Hibridne komponente - napredne proizvodne tehnike za hibridne materiale v strukturnih lahkih aplikacijah (Hybrid Components Meeting – Advanced Manufacturing Techniques for Hybrid Materials in Structural Lightweight Applications) je namreč na konferenci zbral podjetja in institucije z namenom predstavitve najnovejših hibridnih materialov za uporabo v lahkih strukturnih aplikacijah.

Innovative results of the LIFE Citruspack project - Biodegradable packaging for the cosmetics and food industry are participating in the world-renowned competition for the best examples of sustainable packaging products - Sustainability Awards 2021. TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre is a proud member of the LIFE Citruspack consortium, which was chosen in the final selection with exceptional sustainable products.

TECOS is increasingly focused on sustainable development and the circular economy, which would ensure the transfer of such principles to partner companies. Together with Adria Mobil, the leading manufacturer of leisure vehicles, we want to achieve just that; ensure a lower carbon footprint by using more environmentally friendly and sustainable materials.

LEVEL-UP will offer a scalable platform covering the overall lifecycle, ranging from the digital twins’ setup, modernisation actions to diagnose and predict the operation of physical assets, to the refurbishment and remanufacturing activities towards the end of life. In-situ repair technologies and the redesign for new upgraded components will be facilitated through virtual simulations for increased performance and lifetime.

As part of the virtual event AUTOMOTIVE DAY SLOVENIA 2021, organized by the ACS – Automotive Cluster Slovenia and Advantage Austria, where Austrian and Slovenian companies from the automotive sector held an opportunity to exchange their business information and interests, a National Energy Globe Award 2020 plaquette has been granted.

V okviru projekta HIA je TECOS Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije ob podpori SRIP ToP izvedel javni razpis za mala in srednja (MSP) podjetja, na katerem smo podprli 5 slovenskih projektov nadgradnje obstoječih proizvodnih celic. Namen projekta je specificiranje parametrov za vzpostavitev skupne platforme, v katero se lahko proizvodne celice iz različnih industrij vključujejo modularno.

After unofficial online project meetings between the partners held in November 2020, we started the official 2-day online kick-off meeting of the project 1Point on 3rd and 4th December 2020. The meeting was planned to be hosted physically by TECOS (Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre) in Celje, Slovenia, and because of COVID-19 situation and travel restrictions we decided to organize it online. 1Point project, financed by European Commission in the field of the Erasmus + programme „ Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training “, has the aim of creating VET training using the one-point lessons approach for maintenance sector in fields of 3D printing, AR, VR and Lean Manufacturing.

Oranges, tangerines, and other citrus fruits can have a much longer life than imaginable. Its existence is not limited exclusively to food, and the trash bin does not have to be its end of life. Peels and pulp, that are, citrus residues, can be transformed into essential raw material to develop new sustainable products. For example, these residues can become juice bottles destined to house the juice of a new citrus fruit, and even the start base of a 100% natural moisturizer for the face, packed into cosmetic packaging made of citrus waste sources. TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre is very proud to participate in the development of biodegradable bottles and packaging from citrus waste fibers.

The customer has presumed problems with excessive warpage in the stage of tool design. The material is PA66 with 30% of glass fibers. With the help of advanced injection moulding analysis we predicted the trend and values of warpage and thus successfully eliminated the problems.
